Product Review: XyliWhite non-flouride toothpaste

in my attempts to get rid of all Fluoride and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) from my life, i've switched from my regular toothpaste to natural toothpaste....side note: i've always wondered why on the back of the toothpaste tube, there is a warning that says "in case of accidental ingestion, call poison control". REALLY? why?? because it's loaded with toxic chemicals and poison? what the heck Crest and Colgate?...get with the program please! we don't need this garbage in our mouths. if the natural and organic companies can make toothpaste with all natural safe ingredients, then why can't you?

i've been using XyliWhite™ Refreshmint Toothpaste Gel - 6.4 oz from Now Foods you can't buy it directly from their website but there are other online retailers that carry it (like Amazon) and your local health food store may have it. i paid 4.99 for my tube (less than a $1.00 difference from what i was using) i think you can get it a little cheaper online, but then you usually have to pay extra for S&H so it all probably comes out about the same.

i really like it. it's not as sweet and flavorful tasting as say crest or colgate but it makes your teeth feel clean, freshens your whole mouth, tastes good, and it only took me 3 or 4 times before i got used to it...and i just really enjoy the fact that it's "poison free"

i hope anyone reading this will give it a go. and if you have babies who's teeth are coming in and you've just started brushing them or will start brushing soon. i really recommend it. why not start them out on natural products from the get go? i wish i would have done this, but i just didn't know that regular toothpaste was toxic until recently. i guess you do better when you know better. (i know better now! - hooray)....i give it 2 thumbs way up!....here are the minimal ingredients list

Functional Ingredients: Xylitol (25%), Papain (whitening)

i'm not going to get into the side effects of flouride and sls thing....just google it and you'll see for your self....okee doke, i'm gonna go brush my teeth now! here are links to all the different flavors available.
